Latrobe School District opened full-time to staff and students on August 17, 2020. Students remain in separate stable groups of no more than 40 students throughout the day, including lunches and recesses. All staff and students in grades TK-8 are required to wear cloth face masks. Cloth masks are required for bus riders. A Distance Learning option is available to attend live instruction via Zoom and Google Classroom (see attendance guidelines below).

A new housing development, Creekside Village, is planned along Latrobe Road within our district boundaries. Our school board has contracted with two firms to research the impact this development could have on our schools. We held an informational Community Meeting on February 3 to share what we know so far. We welcome your questions and will keep you posted as we learn more.

Student registration packets for the 2021-22 school year will available after March 1 at our District Office/Miller's Hill School, 7900 South Shingle Rd, Latrobe. Completed packets and required documentation must be received prior to starting class at Latrobe School District.
Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten: Children turning five years of age on or before September 1 may register for Kindergarten. Children who turn five years old between September 2 and December 1 will be enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten (two-year program).
Required documents for all students to begin classes include Birth Certificate, Immunization Record, and Proof of Residency in the District.

For 2020-21 the afternoon bus routes has been combined into one route - there is now one bus each for AM and PM stops. Bus stops and times are subject to change and are published by the El Dorado Union High School District Transportation Department. You may purchase regular bus passes online through our Paypal option, or print out a paper application and pay with a check made out to Latrobe School District. Sheets of 10 single-use tickets are available in the offices for $10 per sheet (not available online).
If you meet the 2020-21 Federal Income Guidelines (coming soon), you may qualify for Free or Reduced bus fees. There is no online application for Free/Reduced Bus, you must complete BOTH SIDES of the regular application form and provide proof of income.
All parent volunteers must be fingerprinted one time with Latrobe School District. All volunteer drivers (other than those driving only their own student) must be fingerprinted. Fingerprint results are not transferrable between agencies; if you have been fingerprinted at another agency in the past you must be re-fingerprinted for Latrobe School District.
