Since sugar doesn’t provide anything but energy, it has “empty calories.” It does not contain any vitamins or minerals that your body requires. To be healthy, you should try to eat sugar only occasionally and in small amounts – no more than 8teaspoons (or 32 grams) per day. Using Excel, compare how many total calories and grams of sugar some popular drinks have.
